Actifol 1 mg Tablets provide a therapeutic dose of folic acid, a synthetic form of folate crucial for DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, and homocysteine metabolism. Indicated for prevention and treatment of folate deficiency anaemia, routine supplementation in pregnancy (to reduce risk of neural tube defects), preconception care, and adjunct therapy in conditions like methotrexate use or malabsorption disorders. The 1 mg strength is higher than standard daily multivitamins (400–800 mcg), suitable for correction of deficiency or higher needs. Well-absorbed and stable formulation for reliable daily use.
