Azi Once 200 mg/5 mL Suspension contains azithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic effective against respiratory, skin, ear, and throat infections. The “Once” formulation allows a convenient single daily dose due to azithromycin's long tissue half-life and high intracellular penetration. Indicated for paediatric use in community-acquired pneumonia, acute otitis media, pharyngitis/tonsillitis (streptococcal), sinusitis, and skin/soft tissue infections. The 15 mL bottle typically provides a standard 3-day course (total 30 mg/kg) for children. Pleasant banana or fruit flavour improves acceptance in young patients.
