Azijub 500 mg Tablets contain azithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Known for its convenient short-duration regimens due to long tissue half-life and high intracellular penetration. Indicated for community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbations of COPD, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, sinusitis, skin/soft tissue infections, otitis media, and uncomplicated genital infections (chlamydia, gonorrhoea). The 3-tablet pack provides a standard 1.5 g total dose regimen (500 mg once daily for 3 days), offering rapid onset and excellent efficacy against common pathogens.
