Canesten Solution 20mL is a topical antifungal medication designed to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm, candidiasis, jock itch, sweat rash and fungal intertrigo. It also provides effective relief for fungal infections of the outer and middle ear (otitis externa and otomycoses). The active ingredient, Clotrimazole, belongs to the imidazole group and works by inhibiting fungal growth, targeting dermatophytes, yeasts and molds. This non-greasy, easy-to-apply solution penetrates the skin to alleviate itching, redness and discomfort. Suitable for hairy areas and candidal nail margins, it is fragrance-free and available over-the-counter for convenient home use.
