Product Description
Ciloxan Eye Drops 5mL is a topical fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, including bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) and corneal ulcers (bacterial keratitis). The active ingredient, ciprofloxacin hydrochloride 0.3%, works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication to eliminate susceptible bacteria while minimizing systemic absorption. This sterile, preservative-containing solution is designed for ocular use only, providing rapid relief from symptoms like redness, discharge, pain, and blurred vision. It is not effective against viral or fungal infections. Store at room temperature (15-25°C) away from light and moisture; discard 28 days after opening. Use under medical supervision to prevent resistance or complications.
