Clariglen 500mg Tablets 14 Tablets is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), skin and soft tissue infections, otitis media, and Helicobacter pylori eradication in peptic ulcer disease. Clarithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively stopping growth of susceptible organisms such as Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Haemophilus, and Mycoplasma. This pack provides 14 oblong, yellow film-coated tablets for convenient once- or twice-daily dosing depending on the infection. Rapidly absorbed with high bioavailability, it achieves peak plasma levels in 2-3 hours. Not suitable for viral infections; complete full course to prevent resistance.
