Cosopt 2% Eye Drops 5mL combine dorzolamide HCl (CAI) to decrease aqueous humor production and timolol maleate (beta-blocker) to reduce outflow resistance. Indicated when monotherapy fails in primary open-angle glaucoma or pseudoexfoliative glaucoma. Lowers IOP by 30-35%. Avoid in asthma, COPD, bradycardia or heart block.
