Cozaar 50mg Tablets contain losartan potassium, an ARB that selectively blocks AT1 receptors to reduce vasoconstriction and aldosterone release. Indicated for hypertension, stroke risk reduction in LVH, and diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes. BP reduction within 1 week; maximum in 3-6 weeks. Avoid in pregnancy (2nd/3rd trimester) and bilateral renal artery stenosis.
