Product Description
Cutivate Cream 30g is a potent topical corticosteroid containing fluticasone propionate 0.05% w/w in a smooth, emollient cream base. It works by reducing inflammation, suppressing immune responses in the skin, and alleviating symptoms such as redness, swelling, and pruritus associated with steroid-responsive dermatoses. Commonly prescribed for atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, allergic reactions, and other inflammatory skin conditions in adults and children over 3 months. The cream is designed for short-term use to control flare-ups, providing effective relief while minimizing systemic absorption when used as directed. Benefits • Rapidly reduces redness, swelling, and intense itching • Effectively controls flare-ups of eczema and psoriasis • Provides symptomatic relief in inflammatory skin conditions • Low systemic absorption compared to some other corticosteroids • Suitable for short-term use on most body areas (avoid face/groin unless advised) • Helps restore skin comfort and barrier function during treatment • Well-established efficacy in adults and paediatric patients How to Use • Apply a thin layer to the affected clean, dry skin areas • Gently rub in until absorbed • Use once or twice daily as prescribed by a doctor • Apply the minimum amount needed for symptom control • Do not use for longer than 4 weeks continuously unless directed • Avoid occlusive dressings or wrapping unless instructed • Do not apply to face, eyes, broken skin, or genital areas without medical advice • Wash hands after application • Stop use and consult a doctor if no improvement in 7-14 days or if irritation worsens • Not for use in viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infections
