Daktarin Cream 30g is an over-the-counter topical antifungal medication containing Miconazole Nitrate, effective against fungal and associated bacterial infections of the skin and nails. It works by destroying the cell walls of fungi such as yeasts and dermatophytes, while also targeting bacteria like Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. Ideal for treating athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (dhobie itch/tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), intertrigo, infected nappy rash, sweat rash and nail infections. The smooth, non-greasy cream absorbs quickly, providing soothing relief from itching, redness and irritation.
