Elidel Cream 15Gm is a prescription topical calcineurin inhibitor cream containing pimecrolimus 1%, indicated for the short-term and intermittent long-term treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in patients where conventional therapies have failed or are not appropriate. Pimecrolimus selectively inhibits T-lymphocyte activation and prevents the release of inflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing the immune-mediated skin inflammation characteristic of atopic dermatitis.
