Product Description
EmLA Cream 5% 5x5g 5S is a white soft topical anaesthetic cream designed to temporarily numb the surface of the skin before minor medical procedures. It contains two active ingredients, lidocaine and prilocaine, both at 2.5%, which block nerve signals to provide effective pain relief. This pack includes five 5g tubes and 12 occlusive dressings for enhanced absorption. Commonly used for injections, blood tests, vaccinations, tattoos, minor skin operations, wart removal, and some skin grafts. Application should be under medical guidance, especially for sensitive areas like genitals or in children. Do not use if allergic to local anaesthetics. Biodegradable components and suitable for short-term use. Benefits • Provides effective numbing of the skin surface for pain-free procedures • Quick onset of action when covered with occlusive dressing • Reduces discomfort during injections, needle insertions, and minor surgeries • Protects skin integrity while allowing procedures on larger areas • Well-tolerated with minimal systemic absorption when used as directed How to Use • Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use to determine dosage based on area size and procedure • Squeeze a thick layer of cream (about 1-2g per 10cm²) onto clean, dry skin without rubbing in • Cover with provided occlusive dressing and leave on for 1-5 hours depending on procedure (typically 60 minutes) • Remove dressing, wipe off excess cream, and proceed with the medical procedure • Wash hands after application; avoid eyes and mucous membranes unless directed • For best results, apply in advance as advised; replace tubes if damage
