Exforge 10/320 mg Tablets combine amLodipine (a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist) and valsartan (an ARB) to provide additive blood pressure reduction through vasodilation and blockade of angiotensin II effects. Indicated for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on monotherapy or as initial therapy in severe hypertension. Offers 24-hour smooth control, reduces cardiovascular risk, and is well-tolerated with low incidence of peripheral edema compared to amLodipine alone. Suitable for adults with stage 2 hypertension.
