Famodar 20mg Tablets 30 Tablets is a histamine-2 (H2) receptor antagonist medication containing Famotidine, designed to reduce stomach acid production and promote healing of the esophagus, stomach and duodenal lining. It treats conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal and gastric ulcers, heartburn, erosive esophagitis and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. By competitively blocking histamine at H2 receptors on parietal cells, it provides rapid relief from symptoms like acid indigestion and regurgitation.
