Product Description
Fucicort Cream 30G is a prescription combination cream that combines fusidic acid (a potent antibiotic effective against staphylococci and other gram-positive bacteria) with betamethasone valerate (a strong corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, redness and itching). It is specifically indicated for inflammatory dermatoses (eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis) that have become infected or are at risk of bacterial superinfection. The cream base is smooth, easy to apply and absorbs well without excessive greasiness. It quickly soothes irritated skin while eliminating bacterial infection, promoting healing and reducing symptoms such as oozing, crusting, scaling and discomfort. The 30g tube is compact and sufficient for localized areas (face, hands, folds or small patches). Use should be short-term and under medical supervision due to the potent steroid content (risk of skin thinning, stretch marks or absorption with prolonged/large-area use). Benefits: • Rapidly reduces inflammation, itching and redness • Effectively treats or prevents bacterial infection in inflamed skin • Dual action – antibiotic + anti-inflammatory in one cream • Soothes and promotes healing of infected eczema/dermatitis • Easy-to-apply cream with good spreadability How to Use: • Clean and dry the affected area • Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin 2–3 times daily or as advised by a healthcare professional • Gently rub in until absorbed • Do not cover with bandage unless directed (occlusion increases absorption) • Use for the shortest duration needed (usually 7–14 days) • Do not use on face, broken skin, large areas or for prolonged periods without doctor’s advice • Do not exceed the recommended dosage • Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, nursing, or taking other medicines
