Product Description
Fudion 2% Cream contains fusidic acid, a powerful narrow-spectrum antibiotic that specifically targets Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA in many cases) and some streptococci. It penetrates deeply into the skin to treat primary and secondary bacterial skin infections such as impetigo (school sores), infected eczema, folliculitis, boils, carbuncles, and infected minor wounds or burns. The creamy base is non-greasy, easy to apply, and suitable for face and body use. Resistance remains low due to limited systemic absorption. Benefits • Rapidly clears Staphylococcal skin infections (often within 3–5 days) • Excellent tissue penetration even in crusted lesions • Minimal risk of systemic side effects • Can be used on face (including around eyes with caution) • Effective against many antibiotic-resistant Staph strains • Well tolerated in children and adults How to Use • Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected area 3–4 times daily • Gently rub in until absorbed • For impetigo/boils: cover with light gauze if oozing • Continue treatment for at least 7 days (or 2 days after symptoms clear) • Maximum duration usually 10–14 days • Wash hands before and after application • Do not use under airtight dressings unless directed • Seek medical review if no improvement within 5–7 days
