Gaviscon Advance Peppermint Liquid 300mL is a high-potency reflux suppressant containing sodium alginate 1000 mg/10 mL (twice the strength of regular Gaviscon) and potassium bicarbonate. On contact with stomach acid, it rapidly forms a thick, neutral raft that floats on the stomach contents, physically blocking acid and pepsin from rising into the oesophagus for up to 4 hours. Low-sodium formula is ideal for frequent or severe heartburn, acid regurgitation, and indigestion, including during pregnancy. Pleasant peppermint flavour, sugar-free, and gluten-free.
