Germidine Antiseptic Ointment is a water-soluble iodophor ointment that releases free iodine on contact with skin to provide sustained antiseptic activity. Indicated for prevention and treatment of infection in minor cuts, abrasions, burns, skin ulcers, and as preoperative skin preparation. The non-staining, non-irritating formula creates a protective barrier while allowing exudate drainage, making it ideal for moist wound environments. Effective against a wide range of pathogens including MRSA and Candida, with minimal resistance development. Suitable for repeated application on intact or damaged skin.
