Product Description
Gyno Mikozal Cream 78G is a medicated vaginal cream containing 2% miconazole nitrate, a powerful imidazole antifungal that works by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, leading to the death of Candida species (the main cause of vaginal yeast infections). It is indicated for the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (vaginal thrush), relieving common symptoms such as: Intense itching and irritation Burning sensation White, cottage-cheese-like discharge Redness and swelling of the vulva/vagina Discomfort during intercourse or urination The cream has a smooth, non-greasy base that provides soothing relief upon application. The large 78g tube includes an internal applicator for intravaginal use (to treat the infection at the source) and external application to the vulva for faster symptom relief. Treatment typically lasts 7 days (one applicator full intravaginally at bedtime + external cream as needed), though shorter courses may be sufficient for mild cases. It is effective against most Candida strains and is often used when symptoms recur or other antifungals are not tolerated. Benefits: • Rapidly relieves itching, burning and irritation • Treats the root cause of vaginal yeast infection (Candida) • Dual action – internal + external application for comprehensive relief • Soothing cream base – comfortable and non-irritating • Large 78g tube – sufficient for full course + extra external use How to Use: • Wash hands and external genital area with mild soap and water • Screw the applicator onto the tube, fill to the marked line (usually 5g) • Lie on back with knees bent, gently insert applicator deep into vagina and slowly push plunger to release cream • Remove and discard applicator (single-use) • Apply a thin layer externally to vulva if needed • Use once daily at bedtime for 7 consecutive days or as advised by a healthcare professional • Complete the full course even if symptoms improve • Avoid sexual intercourse or use a condom during treatment • Do not exceed the recommended dosage • Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, nursing, first infection, symptoms persist after 7 days, recurrent infections, or taking other medicines
