Imavir Skin Cream 15 g contains acyclovir, a synthetic nucleoside analogue that inhibits herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 and HSV-2) replication by interfering with viral DNA synthesis. Indicated for the treatment of initial and recurrent episodes of cold sores (herpes labialis) and genital herpes. Applied at the first sign of tingling or blistering, it shortens healing time, reduces pain, and limits viral shedding.
