Kenazole 2% Cream is a potent azole antifungal containing ketoconazole, which inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, leading to cell death. It is indicated for topical treatment of tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), cutaneous candidiasis, tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor), and seborrheic dermatitis caused by Malassezia. The white, smooth cream penetrates skin layers to target infection at the source, providing relief from itching, redness, and scaling within days. Applied once or twice daily for 2–4 weeks, it offers high cure rates with minimal systemic absorption.
