Ketotop 2.5% Gel is a 50 g topical preparation containing ketoprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Applied directly over the painful area — a strained muscle, a sprain, or an aching joint or tendon — it delivers the anti-inflammatory action locally at the site of discomfort rather than systemically. The gel base absorbs without leaving a heavy greasy film. Apply only to intact skin, avoid the eyes and mucous membranes, and wash your hands after use. Ketoprofen can cause photosensitivity, so keep treated areas out of direct sunlight and UV light during treatment and for two weeks afterwards.
