Lamifen 250 mg (terbinafine) is the generic/branded version of Lamisil tablets – the gold-standard systemic treatment for: Onychomycosis (fungal nail infections) – fingers or toes Tinea corporis/cruris (ringworm of body/groin) Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot) – severe or widespread Tinea capitis (scalp ringworm, especially in children) Terbinafine kills dermatophytes by inhibiting squalene epoxidase, leading to fungal cell death. It concentrates heavily in nails and skin, remaining active for weeks/months after stopping treatment.
