Product Description
Lejam 60mg Tablets (dapoxetine) is the first and only medication specifically approved in the UAE and many countries for the on-demand treatment of premature ejaculation. It works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, helping delay ejaculation and improve control over ejaculation timing. Clinical studies show it can extend intravaginal ejaculation latency time (IELT) 3–4 times compared to placebo. Taken 1–3 hours before sexual activity; effects last 4–6 hours. Not a daily medication – use only when needed (maximum once every 24 hours). Does not cure PE permanently but provides reliable control when taken. Manufactured under license from Menarini; store below 25°C protected from moisture. Benefits • Significantly delays ejaculation – most men last 3–4× longer • Improves sexual satisfaction and reduces performance anxiety • Fast onset (1–3 hours) and short duration – no accumulation in body • Taken only when needed – no daily dosing • Well tolerated in most men; low risk of daily-SSRI side effects How to Use • Take 1 tablet (60mg) 1–3 hours before planned sexual activity • Swallow whole with a full glass of water (with or without food) • Maximum: 1 tablet in 24 hours • Do NOT take daily or more than once per day • Alcohol significantly increases risk of dizziness/fainting – avoid or limit • Most men start with 60mg; some may respond to 30mg (Lejam 30mg available) Important Warnings • Not for use in men under 18 or over 64 years • Contraindicated with certain heart conditions, moderate-severe liver impairment, or when taking MAOIs, SSRIs, thioridazine, or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors • Common side effects: headache, dizziness, nausea (usually mild and short-lived) • If you feel faint or dizzy after taking, lie down until symptoms pass • Does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases or act as contraception
