Lipanthyl 145 mg Tablets 30's contain micronised fenofibrate 145 mg, a fibric acid derivative that activates PPAR-α receptors to increase lipolysis and elimination of triglyceride-rich particles from plasma. It significantly lowers triglycerides (up to 50%), total cholesterol, LDL-C, and raises protective HDL-C. Indicated as an adjunct to diet when statins are not tolerated or contraindicated, especially in patients with high cardiovascular risk, type 2 diabetes, or severe hypertriglyceridaemia (>10 mmol/L). The once-daily film-coated tablet ensures excellent absorption even when taken with food.
