Loceryl 5% Nail Lacquer contains amorolfine, a morpholine antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, effective against dermatophytes (Trichophyton), yeasts (Candida), and moulds. Indicated for mild to moderate fungal nail infections affecting up to 2 nails (distal or lateral subungual onychomycosis). The lacquer penetrates the nail plate, creating a non-occlusive film with sustained antifungal activity for up to 7 days per application. Clinically proven to achieve mycological and clinical cure rates of 70–80% after 6–12 months of consistent use.
