Locoid 0.1% Cream contains hydrocortisone 17-butyrate, a potent (group III) steroid with enhanced skin penetration and fast onset of action. Indicated for eczema (atopic, discoid, contact), psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque), lichen planus, and other steroid-responsive dermatoses where inflammation is prominent. The lipid-rich cream base restores the skin barrier while delivering strong anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects. Less atrophy risk than some other potent steroids when used correctly.
