Locoid Lipocream 0.1% contains hydrocortisone butyrate, a potent synthetic corticosteroid with enhanced skin penetration and rapid anti-inflammatory action. The lipophilic (fatty) cream base provides better occlusion and hydration, making it ideal for dry, lichenified, or scaly lesions in conditions such as atopic eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and lichen planus. Offers fast relief from itching, redness, and swelling while minimising atrophy risk compared to some other potent steroids when used appropriately.
