Product Description
Maxitrol Ophthalmic Drops contain neomycin sulfate 3.5 mg, polymyxin B sulfate 6000 IU, and dexamethasone 1 mg per mL. Indicated for steroid-responsive ocular surface infections (conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis) where bacterial infection is present or suspected, and inflammation needs to be controlled. The dual antibiotics cover most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, while dexamethasone rapidly reduces swelling, redness, pain, and itching. Not for viral or fungal eye infections.
