Migranerton Capsules combine paracetamol (acetaminophen), a central analgesic and antipyretic, with metoclopramide hydrochloride, a dopamine antagonist that enhances gastric emptying and provides antiemetic effects. Indicated for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura, particularly when nausea and vomiting are prominent symptoms. Metoclopramide improves absorption of paracetamol by speeding gastric motility, leading to faster pain relief. The low 5 mg dose of metoclopramide minimises extrapyramidal side effects while effectively controlling nausea.
