Mobic 7.5 mg Tablet contains meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam class with preferential inhibition of COX-2 enzyme. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and stiffness in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Compared to traditional NSAIDs, meloxicam 7.5 mg offers a favorable gastrointestinal safety profile at this dose while providing 24-hour relief with once-daily administration. It has a long half-life (approximately 20 hours), ensuring sustained therapeutic effect.
