Mycosat Oral Suspension is a polyene antifungal containing nystatin, which binds to fungal cell membranes to create pores and cause cell death. It is highly effective against Candida albicans and other Candida species without being absorbed systemically, making it ideal for localized treatment of oral thrush (white patches, soreness), esophageal candidiasis, and intestinal candidiasis. The suspension coats the mouth and throat for direct contact with infected areas. Clinically proven to clear oral thrush in 5-7 days, it is the first-line treatment for infants, immunocompromised patients, and those on antibiotics/steroids. The sugar-free, banana-flavored formulation is gentle on teeth and suitable for diabetics and denture wearers.
