Product Description
Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria (e.g., Bacteroides, Clostridium) and protozoa such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica, and Giardia lamblia. Widely prescribed for bacterial vaginosis (BV), trichomoniasis, dental infections, Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination), intra-abdominal infections, and amoebiasis. It works by disrupting DNA in susceptible microorganisms, leading to cell death.
