Olmedine combines olmesartan, one of the strongest and longest-acting ARBs (blocks angiotensin II receptors), with amLodipine, the most widely used dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker. The dual mechanism gives additive BP reduction: average drop of 25–35/12–18 mmHg in clinical trials (ROADMAP, COACH, AZOR studies).
