Omeprex 20 mg Capsules contain omeprazole, a highly effective PPI that irreversibly blocks the final step of gastric acid production. Indicated for symptomatic gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, acid regurgitation, peptic ulcers, NSAID-induced ulcer prevention, and eradication of Helicobacter pylori (in combination regimens). Provides 24-hour acid suppression with once-daily dosing and superior healing rates compared to H2-blockers. Relief usually begins within 1–2 days; full effect after 2–4 weeks.
