Optilone Eye Drops 5mL contain Fluorometholone, a potent corticosteroid with strong anti-inflammatory properties (at least 40 times that of hydrocortisone) and minimal effect on intraocular pressure. This ophthalmic suspension is indicated for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the eye, including allergic conjunctivitis and keratitis, non-infectious inflammation of the anterior segment (such as uveitis, episcleritis, scleritis), and post-operative irritation following eye surgeries like cataract, glaucoma or strabismus procedures. It works by suppressing the inflammatory response, reducing symptoms such as redness, swelling, itching, burning and pain caused by allergies, chemicals, radiation or foreign bodies. Shake well before use as it is a suspension.
