Children's Panadol 5–12 Years Elixir 100 mL is raspberry-flavoured paracetamol (48 mg/mL) formulated for children aged 5 to 12, to gently soothe pain and lower temperature.

Children's Panadol 5–12 Years Elixir 100 mL is the children's Panadol liquid for school-age children. Each mL contains 48 mg of paracetamol, a higher concentration than infant suspensions so that older children take a smaller volume. It is raspberry flavoured and, like all Children's Panadol products, gentle on little stomachs when used as directed.

How to use

• Dose by weight if you know it, otherwise by age, using the table on the pack leaflet
• The dose is 10–15 mg of paracetamol per kilogram, repeated every 4 hours if needed
• Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours (maximum 60 mg/kg per day in divided doses)
• Shake well before use and measure with the dosing device supplied
• Do not give for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor

Important safety information

• Contains paracetamol. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing product
• Do not exceed the stated dose. Taking too much paracetamol can cause serious liver damage
