Pantozol is a highly effective PPI that reduces gastric acid secretion by irreversibly blocking the proton pump in parietal cells. It is indicated for: Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD/GERD) and heartburn Erosive oesophagitis Peptic ulcers (duodenal & gastric) Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination therapy) Prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers Zollinger-Ellison syndrome The 20 mg dose is suitable for mild-moderate reflux, maintenance therapy and prevention.
