Pantozyn 20 mg Tablets contain pantoprazole sodium, a highly effective PPI that irreversibly blocks the final step of gastric acid secretion. Indicated for symptomatic gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartbural, acid regurgitation, mild erosive oesophagitis, and prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers. Provides 24-hour acid control with once-daily dosing and superior healing rates compared to H2-blockers. Relief usually starts within 1–3 days; full effect after 1–2 weeks.
