Proliderm Cream is a potent topical corticosteroid that works by acting inside skin cells to decrease the release of inflammatory substances, thereby reducing swelling, redness, and itch. It is indicated for the relief of inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, and insect bite reactions. The emollient cream base provides moisturization while delivering the active ingredient effectively. Use for short periods (up to 4 weeks) to minimize side effects, with gradual tapering under medical supervision for prolonged conditions.
