Rofenac D 50 mg Tablets contain diclofenac in its free acid form, which dissolves and absorbs more quickly than the traditional potassium or sodium salts, providing faster onset of action (often within 15–30 minutes). Indicated for short-term symptomatic treatment of acute pain and inflammation in conditions such as musculoskeletal disorders (sprains, strains, back pain), dental pain, postoperative pain, dysmenorrhoea (period pain), migraine attacks, and flares of osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. The rapid-release formulation offers quick relief comparable to injectable diclofenac in some scenarios, with convenient oral administration.
