Rybelsus 14 mg Tablets contain semaglutide, the first and only oral GLP-1 receptor agonist. Taken once daily, it mimics the action of natural GLP-1 by stimulating insulin secretion, suppressing glucagon, and slowing gastric emptying – leading to significant HbA1c reduction and weight loss. Indicated as monotherapy when metformin is inappropriate, or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines (including insulin) in adults with type 2 diabetes insufficiently controlled on maximum tolerated doses.
