Sinecod Syrup 200mL is a non-opioid cough suppressant containing butamirate citrate that acts centrally on the cough centre in the brain to reduce the frequency and intensity of dry, hacking coughs. It is effective for dry coughs associated with common colds, flu, bronchitis, tracheitis, laryngitis, whooping cough (pertussis) or irritative cough from various causes. Unlike expectorants, it does not loosen mucus or suppress productive (wet) coughs, making it suitable when cough is dry and non-productive. The syrup has a pleasant taste that is easy for children to accept and the 200mL bottle comes with a measuring cup or spoon for accurate dosing.
