Product Description
Soflax (lactulose) works as an osmotic laxative by drawing water into the large intestine, softening the stool and increasing bowel motility without causing cramping or urgency in most users. It is the first-choice laxative for chronic constipation, hepatic encephalopathy (portal systemic encephalopathy), and after haemorrhoid or anal surgery. It is extremely well tolerated, non-habit-forming, and can be used safely long-term. Effects are usually seen within 24–48 hours.
