Solomax Syrup 120mL contains codeine phosphate 10 mg/5 mL, an opioid antitussive that acts centrally on the cough centre in the medulla to suppress dry, hacking cough associated with colds, flu, bronchitis, or respiratory tract irritation. The pleasant-tasting, sugar-free syrup also includes an antihistamine to dry secretions and reduce nasal drip that triggers coughing. It offers long-lasting relief (8–12 hours per dose) and is indicated when non-opioid cough suppressants are ineffective. Controlled medication – use strictly as prescribed.
