Telfast 180mg Tablets (15 tablets) is a long-acting, non-sedating antihistamine that provides powerful 24-hour relief from symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny/itchy nose, itchy palate, and red, itchy, watery eyes. It is also highly effective for chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) – reducing itching and the number/size of wheals. Fexofenadine works by selectively blocking peripheral H1 receptors with virtually no brain penetration, so it does not cause drowsiness in the vast majority of people (incidence similar to placebo). Onset within 1 hour, peak effect 2–3 hours. Can be taken with or without food; no interaction with fruit juices. Manufactured by Sanofi; store below 25°C.
