Tetralysal 300 mg Capsules 16's contain lymecycline 408 mg, a highly bioavailable tetracycline derivative that inhibits protein synthesis in Propionibacterium acnes and reduces inflammation in acne-prone skin. Unlike older tetracyclines, lymecycline achieves excellent absorption even when taken with food or milk, allowing convenient once-daily dosing. Indicated for papulopustular acne vulgaris and acne rosacea when other treatments are ineffective. The hard gelatin capsules are well tolerated and typically prescribed for 8–16 weeks.
