Thealoz Duo Eye Drops 10mL is a preservative-free, hypotonic solution combining trehalose 3% and sodium hyaluronate 0.15%. Trehalose, a natural disaccharide, protects epithelial cells on the ocular surface, offering bioprotection and osmoprotection against dryness and environmental stress. Sodium hyaluronate retains water to hydrate and lubricate the eye, acting like a sponge for progressive moisture release. This dual-action formula is indicated for moderate to severe dry eye disease, relieving symptoms such as discomfort, stinging, irritation, grittiness, burning, and foreign body sensation caused by wind, smoke, pollution, air conditioning, screen use, or other factors. The patented ABAK bottle uses a 0.2 µm filter to deliver contamination-free drops without preservatives, allowing use for up to 6 months after opening. It restores tear film thickness for at least 4 hours, longer than hyaluronate alone.
