Injection (ceftriaxone) is a broad-spectrum, third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, such as respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint, and intra-abdominal infections, as well as gonorrhoea. It works by stopping bacteria from building their cell walls.
