Zenith Folofer Softgel is a haematinic supplement combining highly bioavailable ferrous fumarate iron with folic acid in a soft gelatin capsule for improved absorption and tolerability. Indicated for iron-deficiency anaemia (common in pregnancy, heavy menstruation, or poor diet), folate deficiency, and as routine supplementation in pregnancy to support red blood cell formation and prevent neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The softgel format reduces gastric irritation compared to traditional iron tablets and the lipid base enhances iron uptake.
